An extension and internal remodelling of a children’s nursery using low embodied carbon materials. The project encompasses a rear ground floor extension to accommodate an additional 6 under 2 year old spaces and internal remodelling to improve accessibility, add catering space, buggy parking and improve thermal performance.

The nursery extension includes a green roof, along with playful window shapes and timber shingles to reflect the nursery’s ethos. We also added an acoustic fence to reduce noise to neighbours.
